January 1st, 2011: Date Day with Babe

First of all, I thought that the te beginning of 2012 would be the perfect opportunity to restart project 365! Along with daily tumblr posts, I downloaded an app on my phone called MY365, (thanks to @melanieofthemoon) and i’m going to use it to upload pictures daily. Babe and I ended 2011 with a delicious dinner in bed (Salmon Wellington from the restaurant that babe works at, yumm!) and a scary movie, on top of that I got my new years kiss! After that we actually headed to bed to have energy for our date the next day. 

We started the day with starbucks and the flea market, but it was pretty empty because it’s new years day! We walked around for a bit and Babe and I came out with a forest green GAP vneck, a beige GAP tank top, a boyfriend fit black blazer, a chunky gold necklace, a statement ring and a new book, all for 1$ each! Besides that I bought a vintage side bag (similar to my mom’s back when she was in high school) for only 4$!

Afterwards we headed to Palo Alto in hopes of getting Nothing Bundt Cakes but that was closed for the holidays along with Icing on the cake): We ended up walking around down town Palo Alto and exploring some of the cooking supplies store, I basically fell in love with Sur La Table, everything is so quirky and colorful! 

Ikea for lunch, where Babe and I bought a new coffee table for our living room and then we were off to have dinner with Babe’s family. Now we’re home watching a thriller and getting ready for the second day of 2012 to come.
